Nonwoven geotextile products are made from staple filaments of polypropylene fiber and are needlepunched and heat set. They range from light weight (3 to 5 oz/sy), to medium weight (6 to 8 oz/sy), to heavy weight (10 to 16 oz/sy). Nonwovens in excess of 16 oz/sy are also available.
